Our hotel was designed around the island's oldest eucalyptus tree - standing on our grounds for over two centuries before the hotel was built.

We work every day to reduce our footprint and to give back to our local community, improving our results year after year.

⚡ Energy All lighting has been replaced with LED and energy-saving bulbs. Our solar panels and heat pump cover all our hot water needs.

🌳 Olive Oil Our surrounding olive groves are free from toxic chemicals. The pure, extra virgin olive oil we produce is used in our kitchen, enriching every dish.

🍇 Local Sourcing - Our Middle Name All wine served at Castelli is produced in Zakynthos, and we prioritize Greek dairy and regional ingredients.
Every guest is welcomed with Zante Currant, a delicious local superfood found only on our island. 😊

🔁 Reusing We donate reusable containers to local farmers, helping reduce waste while supporting their work in the fields.

🧺 Linen Policy We care for your comfort - and our planet. Please help us save water and energy with less daily towel changes.

❄️ Air Conditioning Zakynthos summers are warm - please keep your A/C at 23°C or higher, and use it only when you're in the room.

🚫 Single-Use Plastics. No plastic cups here! We use polycarbonate reusable glasses, glassware, and occasionally paper.
