The Castelli family produces around 2 tonnes of extra virgin olive oil each year, and during this special activity, we'll share our secret with you. It's more than just olive picking - it's about tradition, taste, and truly experiencing the heart of Zakynthos.
Zante Currants- The local Superfood Secret
A traditional sight unique to Zakynthos.
In late summer and early autumn, Zakynthos island is filled with the aromas of nature at its peak. As you explore the island, you may see Zante currants-tiny, sweet black raisins-laid out to dry under the sun. This local superfood, enjoyed plain or covered in chocolate, is a proud Zakynthian export with a rich history and unique flavor.

Our cooking classes, usually held twice a week, invite you to roll up your sleeves and discover the joy of Greek cuisine. Together, we'll prepare classics like Tzatziki, Tiropitakia, and one of Greece's most beloved dishes-always with a dash of fun and local flair.
Learn the secrets passed down by the Castelli family, laugh, taste, and create memories that last forever.

Caretta Caretta presentation
Castelli Hotel is a proud supporter and a sponsor to the NGO that protects the sea turtles, and weekly we organize informative presentations for our valued guests. Our reception team offers different ideas on how to observe the Caretta Caretta and make the most of the magnificent Laganas bay beaches without disturbing the endangered species.
