If you are holidaying in October, and depending on the weather, maybe the olive picking season is just starting; in this case, you could visit the local olive oil factory, and actually see how this priceless product is being produced, and you might also enjoy participating in the picking of the olives, that we may easily organize, and it’s a delightful experience!

From Castelli, one may find oneself at the ideal spot for exploring the picturesque island of Zakynthos, the third largest island of the Ionian Sea. Bus service is frequent, catching the coach from nearby the hotel to surrounding villages and Zakynthos, and catching the coach from Zakynthos to the majority of the island.
Zakynthos may be accessed by plane, or boat via Killini port, Kefallonia island or Italy (during high season).
Also driving around Zakynthos is a wonderful idea, as the distances are short, and the variety of different scenic places to visit endless. If you feel more athletic and would like to explore the nearby areas with a bicycle, we may also assist you hiring one!

How to reach us:

  • From the airport

Leaving the airport, you ignore the first crossroad you find, and on the second one, having reached a busier road, you turn left following signs to Laganas & Keri. After about 3 km, there is a sign to the left, to Laganas. You ignore it, and continue driving on the main road, towards Keri/Lithakia village, for about 2,5 km, where you find yourself at Lithakia's crossroad. It's the only big crossroad you find, with a lot of indicatory signs; on your left hand there is Dennis Tavern, and opposite the tavern there is a red/blue EKO petrol station: you turn left there, following the direction Laganas/Agios Sostis/Castelli having EKO on your right hand. Following this road, you find us in about 3km total. In between, at all the little crossroads you find Castelli signs: practically you ignore all little crossroads, always keeping the main road, until you get to a small hilly crossroad, where you turn left all the way, leaving Laganas camping on your right hand. After Laganas camping, you find us on your right hand, in less than 200m! Alternatively, one may choose to arrive at Castelli through the center of Laganas, which would be a route approximately 2 km shorter in distance, nevertheless usually there is a lot of traffic though the center, buses, coaches, visitors wondering around, motorbikes, etc, which makes driving through the center more tiring than the way we’ve indicated above!

  • From Zakynthos port

Having just exited the ferry boat, there is a road within the port you follow; at the end of that, you arrive at the crossroad in front of the church (Agios Dionysios church), where you turn left following the signs to Laganas. After 300 meters, at the traffic light you turn right following the road to Laganas. At the next traffic light, you turn left, again following the direction towards Laganas. After that, you stay on the same road for about 7km, following the signs to Keri/Lithakia village, until you find yourself at Lithakia's crossroad.
